We eliminated Ponyville Live!'s and Equestria.tv's dependencies on Canterlot, configured a reverse proxy for it, and will no longer let that server face the public Internet. Another attempt will be made to migrate it to our new hardware in about an hour.

Bad news: We need to perform an emergency reboot of the Rainbow Falls host node because NFS shenanigans tied up the kernel in an unrecoverable way. This will cause downtime for most of our sites.
Good news: we have a plan to finish the migration of Canterlot. We just need to get this host node into a fully functioning state again.

We duplicated Canterlot and are reverse-proxying Equestria.tv and Ponyville Live! through the replacement on our new hardware. MLP Forums and Poniverse.net continue to run on our old hardware while we continue investigating.

Everything moved over fine except for Canterlot - a few things went horribly wrong with that. A postmortem will follow. We've restored Canterlot on its original hardware in the meantime and will re-attempt its migration after figuring out how to make it work.

We're taking the opportunity to move Manehattan and Golden Oak during this window as well (one hosts PoniArcade.com and the other is our PostgreSQL server). Moving over Vanhoover, our MariaDB server, is priority number 1.

Canterlot hosts Poniverse.net and the associated API, MLP Forums, and is linked to Ponyville Live!. Switching it over is expected to take under 20 minutes but will involve an outage for all of the above. Whitetail Woods, the mail server used by all of the above, will be moved at the same time.
Pixel's stretch goal: if a few things work out according to plan, we may even manage to switch over Vanhoover, our main MariaDB server, during this window!
